Fun, Christian Activity Inspiration

This kind of book excites me. I'm no longer a kid, but this kind of book was better than candy for me as a kid. Kids will really enjoy flipping through and dreaming of the fun activities they could do.

The Adventure Bible Book of Daring Deeds and Epic Creations is a compact book full of 60 activities for kiddos. These activities include things I would love to do with kids; fun things like:
-Bottle Bowling
-David's Slingshot
-Finger Knitting
-Homemade Rock Candy
-Identifying Animal Tracks
-Major Constellations
-Solar Oven
-T-shirt Bag

Each activity includes a short description, "What you need," "What you do," a spiritual illustration ("Think About This" callout), and a related verse. Some activities, like "Identifying Leaves" include some fun facts before the activity.

An Index at the end categorises activities by item (acrylic paints, bucket, craft sticks, paper plates, soap, yarn), making this book a great resource if you're looking for things to do on a rainy day (by item you have) or leading a kids' program.

Most activities are simple and easy to do without a lot of extra supplies. Some are more suitable for younger children (6 and under) but most for kids over 8.

The thing I really like about this book (and that makes it different from other secular adventure books on the market) is the inclusion of a Bible verse with each activity. It makes activities more meaningful and could even serve as a ministry for those friends who don't get know Jesus.

I would highly recommend for anyone looking for fun summer activities to do with their kids or running a kids' program!
